Feral Colony Notes
- The next fix-a-thon is scheduled for the weekend of February 18 and 19, 2017.
- Shelly posted a video of her arrival at the snow-covered Happy Forest today, featuring Sisko, Soren, Doyle, Pansy, Billings, Quinn (aka “Bunny Quinn”), Hannity, and others. In the comments, she also posted a picture of the feeding station after she’d cleaned off the snow-laden tarps and cleared an open area.
She also posted a second video, featuring pictures from today of Sisko, Macey, Rusty, Templeton, Marcus, Milo, and Pansy. (In the comments on this second video, she also posted some pictures of Savina, who she says is almost always there.)
- She also posted a picture of Milo (from the Happy Forest colony) who is on the target list for the February Feral Fix-a-thon.
The cams and Livestream feeds
Recently, Shelly has been switching cams and feeds around fairly randomly so I am just going to note what cams were viewable when. Generally there is a VIP stream and a public stream.
- The VIP stream was on Calvin all day.
- The regular stream showed Finster and Boo all day.
- Nothing was streaming live on YouTube.
The F1 Colony Kitten Brigade
The kitten brigade is now just down to Finster and Boo (aka Foo), the Monkey kittens.
- Shelly brought a snowcat in for Finster and Boo to play with. They beheaded it within minutes, and then spent the next several minutes swatting at it. (Linda B. took it out with her when she left after her visit.)
- Linda B. visited shortly after noon.
- Nicole and Trevor (Willow Sarin’s humans) visited with them in the afternoon, shortly after Linda B. left. Finster got some good playtime, and both got cuddles and snuggle time with both sets of visitors.
Calvin
Calvin is in the feral recovery room downstairs at TKHQ.
- Shelly visited him in the morning. He was particularly feisty today and got a few solid hits in on her hand, leaving it bleeding. She had brought in a snowcat for him as well; while she was there, she made some layout changes to the room, removing the Kuranda and replacing it with a tall cat tree. Calvin was confused by the loss of the Kuranda (his favourite hidey hole) and, like most of the adult ferals that have been in residence at TKHQ, he doesn’t quite know how to use a tall cat tree to get up to the window ledge.
- Linda B. visited Calvin in the afternoon, after she left Finster and Boo.
Mason
Mason is at Shelly’s. He has the run of the house, though Shelly says he mostly hides under the couch. There were no specific updates on him today.
