The cams and Livestream feeds

We currently have three live streaming webcams at TKHQ:

  • The Jingle Bell’s Romper Room of Delight stream: Despite the name, this is the stream that is currently on Noelle and Elf (aka NoElf) in their dormitory downstairs.
  • The Feral Recovery Room stream: This, as the name would suggest, is the stream that is on the upstairs room with Satine, Enara, and Tiger.
  • The TinyKittens VIP cam stream: When there are only two (or fewer) rooms of cats/kittens, this stream is usually showing an alternate view of one of the rooms. Wherever it’s pointing at any given moment, this special stream/feed is only accessible for a monthly or annual fee. (Consider it a way to donate to TinyKittens monthly, with the VIP cam feed as a perk.) It is currently offering up an alternate view of NoElf’s room.

Feral Recovery Ward

Current residents:

ferals currently recuperating at TKHQ 2016-02-13 - Satine, Enara, and Tiger
  • Satine was returned to the colony today.
    • Shelly’s PSA about Satine and her return to the colony, from the Livestream chat:
“The primary goal of the recovery ward is to allow them to recover in a low stress cage free environment. Added bonus finding some that have been receptive to interaction with us, like Enara. We can have the greatest impact in this colony by spaying/neutering, bringing in injured and pregnant ferals, learning as much as possible, and raising awareness and the value of ferals. Trying to force socialization on a cat who isn’t ready is not kind, unless there is a very good reason to do so (injury, unsafe situation at colony, etc). There is no reason to force that on Satine at this point, especially when we have been so successful socializing ferals that want to be socialized at the feeding station where they feel safe. I didn’t make the decision lightly, but it is 100% what is best for Satine at this point. It is also what is best for the injured/pregnant feral we will be able to bring in to take her place. I also think that we can learn something returning her after having established a foundation of positive interaction with her.”

NoElf Room

This is the room downstairs where Noelle and Elf are currently residing, on their own while Noelle’s ringworm status is still positive.
