Star Wars Litter
LAPS staff and volunteers have been very good about posting the videos of the various visits with Queen Amidala and the kittens to their Livestream page, so if you miss any visit, you can go to http://livestream.com/accounts/14083503/starwars to watch them. (Note: It’s not always easy to tell what day a video is from — Livestream uses relative time, i.e. “xx days ago”, for posts and Zulu Time, which is currently eight hours ahead of PST, for comments — but they are in reverse chronological order on the page.)

Christmas Decoration Kittens
Alicia tries to broadcast a Periscope with the kittens every night at around 20:00 PST. Because Periscope videos are only viewable on/in Periscope for 24 hours, I record the videos and upload them to YouTube.

There’s always room at the TKHQ Inn for Mary
- During their visit with the romper room kittens, Ms. Tyler and Alicia saw a cat meowing at the basement windows, looking to get in. Alicia went out to try to find it, but it was nowhere around when she got out there.
- The very friendly tabby and white cat came back a little later and Gwen brought her inside. She was bleeding quite a bit from her back end — they don’t know if she is miscarrying or has a terrible UTI or what. (Shelly said that she doesn’t show signs of nursing any babies and no obvious signs that she has babies in her.) Gwen took her to the emergency vet for examination and treatment. She is staying overnight and will possibly have surgery in the morning.
- During her visits with the existing residents of the TKHQ Home for Wayward Kittens after this, Shelly mentioned that this was the cat she’d been talking about on Monday, that the neighbour had found and had approached Shelly about. (Shelly had given the cat Revolution and whatnot before the neighbour took the cat in.) The cat was apparently spotting at that time; she later got out of the house, to the neighbour’s distress.
