LAPS:

Star Wars Litter

LAPS staff and volunteers have been very good about posting the videos of the various visits with Queen Amidala and the kittens to their Livestream page so if you miss any visit, you can almost always go to http://livestream.com/accounts/14083503/starwars to watch them later on. (Note: It’s not always easy to tell what day a video is from — Livestream uses relative time, i.e. “xx days ago”, for posts and Zulu Time, which is currently eight hours ahead of PST, for comments — but they are in reverse chronological order on the page.)

“A Christmas Story” Kittens

  • Suzanne visited with Ralphie and Farkus in isolation at LAPS today. (They were brought in to LAPS from the feral colony on December 19.)

Christmas Decoration Kittens

  • Alicia had her nightly Periscope with the kittens tonight.

Frodo

  • Frodo is still looking for his forever home. Mountain View has posted that they’ll provide two bags of Frodo’s special food AND two exams as a little incentive.

TinyKittens HQ:

Cassidy

  • Shelly managed to get both of his splints on and kept them on for a couple of hours; not the ideal angle, but still a good start.

General Notes

  • Shelly thinks that the next ringworm bath day will be Wednesday, as that’s when they could next get enough people together.

Holly, Comet, Mistletoe, and Joy

  • Suzanne visited the kittens in the late morning, early afternoon. She found a tuft of hair near the litter boxes. (Earlier in the day, there had been a very noisy altercation of some kind in that area between Holly — who has been really growly and hissy towards Comet in particular lately — and Comet, who was just being a boy; I’m guessing the tuft of hair came from that. Holly had a weird tuft of hair sticking up on the back of her neck during the visit.)
  • Shelly visited in the evening. Joy is going through her URI stage — snarfling, sneezing, etc. Holly is much better. Mistletoe is getting slowly better at not immediately running away and hiding; they’re hoping to find a nice quiet home for her and another of the cats, where she can have the time and leisure to get more confident with people.

Ringworm Romper Room with Jingle, Elf, Nicholas, and Noelle

  • Suzanne visited the kittens in the late morning, early afternoon.
  • Shelly visited in the evening. Ringworm meds and ear cleaning for everyone. Elf got some extended lap snuggling. Nicholas sounds congested.
