LAPS:
Star Wars Litter
LAPS staff and volunteers have been very good about posting the videos of the various visits with Queen Amidala and the kittens to their Livestream page, so if you miss any visit, you can go to http://livestream.com/accounts/14083503/starwars to watch them. (Note: It’s not always easy to tell what day a video is from — Livestream uses relative time, i.e. “xx days ago”, for posts and Zulu Time, which is currently eight hours ahead of PST, for comments — but they are in reverse chronological order on the page.)
- Weight chart
- Today’s visits/videos on Livestream (in chronological order, titles from actual posts):
- Alicia also stopped by to visit with Amidala in the late morning. She didn’t appear on cam, but she did stop and greet her majesty and have a little chat with her majesty’s social secretary, Jayne. 😉
Christmas Decoration Kittens
Alicia tries to broadcast a Periscope with the kittens every night at around 20:00 PST. Because Periscope videos are only viewable on/in Periscope for 24 hours, I record the videos and upload them to YouTube.
- Alicia had her nightly Periscope session with the kittens tonight. Glimmer weighs 1062 grams (up from 1059), Star weighs 793 grams (up from 786), Ribbon weighs 978 grams (up from 955), Tinsel weighs 1160 grams (up from 1153) and Bow weighs 1223 grams (up from 1220).
Caramel and Butterscotch
- Caramel and Butterscotch, who initially arrived at LAPS on December 21 with possible brother Toffee, were at the LAPS Satellite Adoption Centre in Abbotsford today and found their forever homes today as well.
TinyKittens HQ:
Cassidy
- Cassidy is still resisting the splints and physiotherapy — and Shelly is still doggedly persisting at it.
Mary
- Suzanne visited in the morning.
- Alicia visited in the afternoon.
- Mary will be going to Mountain View on Tuesday for her ultrasound.

General Notes
- Shelly swapped the feeds around at noon, just before Suzanne arrived for her visit downstairs. I believe it is so that Holly and Joy are on regular cam (because they still need to forever home), but it also means that Suzanne’s visit with Jingle and the others was on VIP cam. On the plus side, Comet and his girls were being ridiculously scampy upstairs at the time so the regular cam viewers got a lot of entertainment right off the bat.
- Still no further PCR test results.
- Holly and Joy will be heading in to Mountain View for their spays on Wednesday, January 13. Their original potential adoption has fallen through so Shelly is looking for new applications.
Feral Colony
- Kim T was on feeding station duty today. She uploaded some videos. (See her section at the bottom of this page.)
Holly, Comet, Mistletoe, and Joy
- Suzanne visited in the morning. She cleaned, put out fresh food and water, and played with everyone. All four kittens were out and very relaxedly playing in front of her while she was sweeping up, which is a huge deal.
- Shelly visited at around 14:15. Holly and Joy’s potential adoption fell through so she’s on the lookout for new applications. Shelly took some proper pictures with her good camera to post on Facebook and had some good snuggles with everyone.
- Alicia visited in the afternoon and brought the hexbug with her. She had extensive cuddles with Holly and Mistletoe in particular, and then everyone had a great time with the hexbug.
- Shelly visited very briefly again at around 22:20. She took some cute pictures of the cats on the top of the cat tree and checked to make sure they had food before heading down to give the romper room kittens their ringworm meds.
Ringworm Romper Room with Jingle, Elf, Nicholas, and Noelle
Note: Jingle, Elf, Nicholas, and Noelle are currently only viewable on the TinyKittens VIP cam (since Shelly swapped the feeds around at noon PST), which you can access for a monthly or annual fee.
- Suzanne visited at noon.
- Alicia visited in the afternoon. She fixed the camera angle and set up a play area for more hexbug fun. Elf wasn’t too sure of it, but Jingle and the others had a great time with it. Not as much fun as Mistletoe and the others upstairs — and definitely not as much fun as the Christmas Decoration kittens have been having with theirs. (Seriously, go watch the first Periscope of them with the hexbug. You’ll giggle.) She cut off some mats on Elf and Jingle and had some good cuddles and hover kittens going.
- Shelly visited at around 22:30. She brought fresh food, administered some cuddles, cleaned a few ears, and gave everyone their ringworm meds. She mentioned that she will talk to Dr. Ferguson on Tuesday about Elf and her URI and belly bloat issues, to see if there’s anything else they should be doing.
