The cams and Livestream feeds
Since the fix-a-thon, Shelly has been switching cams and feeds around fairly randomly so it’s complicated to keep track of which room was on which stream at which time. There are still two streams (VIP stream and regular regular fix-a-thon stream) and any of the three rooms (Lion Colony room aka the white room upstairs, Happy Forest Colony room aka the purple room upstairs, and the Nano Colony room aka the small feral recovery room downstairs) may be on either of the cams at any given point.
General Notes
- TinyKittens received a cheque today for $993 from CFOX as winner of their monthly RAMdom Acts of Kindness contest. (Shelly was nominated by Mountain View Veterinary Hospital.)
- While she was there, Shelly was interviewed about her work with TinyKittens. The radio show wasn’t saved on the CFOX site, but Kimsies recorded the show and played it back via Facebook Live (with a lovely roaring fire video accompaniment.) Note: Facebook Live videos don’t embed well in WordPress so click here to go to Kimsies’ Facebook page to listen to the interview. It’s short, but pretty funny.
Lion Colony Room
The white room upstairs at TinyKittens HQ is currently the home of Wee Pumpkin (aka Wumpkin aka Wee Flumpkin) and Middle Pumpkin (aka Mumpkin) from the Lion Colony.
- Suzanne visited.
- Shelly visited briefly in the evening to give Wee his meds and to put out fresh food.
Happy Forest Colony Room
The purple room upstairs at TinyKittens HQ, current home of Calvin, Macey, QuinnBunny, and Rusty. (Note: Regular food cannot be left out in this room as Calvin is on a strict high protein diet, so snugglers/visitors have to bring snacks in with them and leave with any leftovers.)
- Suzanne visited.
- I assume Shelly visited, but I don’t think it was on cam.
Nano’s Colony Room
The small feral recovery room downstairs at TinyKittens HQ, currently home to Nala and her daughter Mali from Nano’s Colony.
- As far as I know, this room wasn’t on cam today until the evening, but I imagine Nala and Mali got a visit from Suzanne. I also assume they got a visit at some point from Shelly, but it wasn’t on cam.
Mason
Mason is at Shelly’s. He has the run of the house, though Shelly says he mostly hides under the couch.
LAPS:
The cams and Livestream feeds
LAPS is currently having some technical issues with their computer and their Internet/WiFi and so they’re generally unable to broadcast a full-time live stream at this time. Their current intermittent streams are:
- A Day in the Life At LAPS: This is the main general event for LAPS. It’s the stream where intakes are usually streamed along with other shelter residents/rooms.
- New Intake: This is occasionally used for new cat/kitten intakes at the shelter.
Cupcake
- Foster mom Shannon posted a couple of videos and pictures of the adorable Cupcake, who was brought in yesterday after his owners decided they didn’t want him and asked a vet to euthanize him. The update on his bobbed tail is that they don’t know what caused the tail injury, but it needs repair.
Early Kitten Roundup
- LAPS announced that they will be holding an early kitten roundup on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 11:00 to 16:00.
